Sewer main pipes connects the citywide sewer distribution system. The pipes carry raw sewer from various sources in to treatment plants. Sewer main pipes are mostly underground, are made of different materials (such as Steel, PVC, DI, VC, Concrete, CI, AC, Fiberglass, Tin, HDPE)and come in different sizes. Main lines are mapped from georeferenced engineering as-built record drawings. The engineering drawings, as well as GPS points collected in the field, provide various attribute information. |
